She's replying … I write a humpr column that runs in about 1800 papers in three labguages. I've written two New York Times best-sellwrs. Caption: Do you remember those five black and latin brothas from New York who was put in jail for assaulting a lady they never met? They sat in jail for years for that 'cause the NYPD was so sure it had to be some brown kids that they didn't bother lookin' no further. The city just had to pay those brothas $40 million 'cause of the injustice of it all. $40 million! Can you beleedat, Big L? They only one thing that would make this story better ... If somebody would pay the lady that got attacked $40 million, too. Who are you and what have you done with the real Clyde? They could also pay me $2 mil for havin' to watch it all on tv back when it happened.

Caption: You hear 'bout them black kids in Rochester who got arrested for loitering … … while all they was doin' was waitin' for they school bus? Does that surprise you? This is the country that described Travon Martin's screwdriver as a "burglary tool." In my hands, someone's liable to call this basketball a "weapon." Only if they ain't never played ball with you.

Caption: What do you think of "stop and frisk"? I think it's rude. If cops are going to violate my constitutional rights, the least they could do is not waste my time. "Walk and frisk" would be a little more acceptable. Or "bike and frisk." I've got places to be. Dios mio.

Caption: Lemont Brown interviews President Obama's "Evolving Position on Marriage." What does the President think about New York legalizing gay marriage? The issue of marriage equality is best handled by the states. But … if there's one thing the Civil Rights Movement taught us, it's that only the federal government can stop the states from denying minorities their equal rights. SEGREGATION NOW, SEGRATION FOREVA! Stop that.

Caption: Bob, the problem with administration is they only talk to people who already agree with them. A Clinton administration wouldn't be afraid to talk to our enemies. Bob, I agree with Senator Clinton. I'd talk to our enemies too. What Senator Obama just said is irresponsible and naive -- proof he's not ready to be president. Bob, as president, if I knew top terrorist targets were in Pakistan, I'd take them out. So would I, Bob. It's irresponsible and naive for Mr. Obama to say what he just said. What? You just said the same exact thing! Listen, it's too nice a day for us to argue about this. Well, it is nice out. It's irresponsible and naive to say that when he doesn't know how the day's going to turn out.

Caption: Meanwhile in an alternative universe where the response to the New Orleans flood was competent … Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Rather than playing golf today, the president sent the National Guard to new Orleans to join rescue efforts which -- instead of being haphazard -- were the result of years of careful planning by local officials. Tuesday evening ... Congress has granted the president emergency powers. The president has ordered police departments across the nation to contribute helicopters and pilots for food drops and to rescue citizens from rooftops. Thousands of national guardsmen have begun arriving in New Orleans. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. The sky is filled with helicopters. The president has ordered Greyhound to send all area buses to New Orleans and calls on truck owners in the region to volunteer evacuate the desperate citizens. Instead of condemning people for taking what they need to survive, the White House has ordered National Guard troops to crack down only on those looting non-essentials. Instead of blaming the victims. the head of FEMA has noted that the poor didn't have the resources to evacuate the city. Thursday September 1, 2005. New Orleans has been devastated, but quick action by authorities gave people enough hope that few resorted to violence. It could have been much worse. And instead of spending thousands of dollars on shoes in New York, Condoleezza Rice is doing her job.
