Caption: Are you going to just sit there all day? There are lots of things you could be doing. Yeah, I guess I'm just the sedimentary type. I think the word is sedentary. Are you sure about that? Look it up. I would if I weren't so sedimentary.

Caption: Plinth! I beg your pardon? Plinth. It's my word of the day. Every day I learn a new word. I read an article that said learning a new word every day will help your mind stay sharp. So, what does plinth" mean? Oh, I have no idea. The article didn't say anything about learning what they mean.

Caption: How's your day goin', Earl? Fair to middlin'. Mark Twain once said if you eat a frog first thing in the morning, the rest of your day will be wonderful. In other words, he was saying to get your worst task out of the way first thing, and then everything else will seem good in comparison. I disagree with that interpretation. Frog legs are actually quite delicious. I think he was saying to eat something really good for breakfast and it'll get your day off to a good start. Do you really believe that? No, but the election's been over for more than a month now, and I miss the arguing.
