1. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Candorville 2018-10-27 Supreme Court
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2018-10-27 Pub. Date: 2018-10-27
Image Number: 174605
Caption: What'd you mean when you called it the Republican Supreme Court? They're not all Republicans. Ever since the Republicans voted as a bloc in 2000 to end the recount and make Bush president … and with all the 5 to 4 votes … it's become increasingly clear that the court is a political body, just like Congress. There's no point in pretending it's still some unbiased arbiter of justice. Nothing's legitimate anymore. This is just like the last days of Rome.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2018-10-22 Pub. Date: 2018-10-22
Image Number: 174600
Caption: They're purging voters in how many states? Way more than you'd think. As soon as the Republican Supreme Court ok'd it … every state with a history of discrimination at the polls started purging voters way more than usual. Those states purged millions of voters just before the 2016 election. It disproportionately impacted minorities. But I'm sure that part was just coincidence. I hate sarcasm Mondays.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2018-10-06 Pub. Date: 2018-10-06
Image Number: 174293
Caption: So … you took it pretty hard when Judge Boosie Groperman got confirmed for the state Supreme Court. No I didn't. It's just … his supporters kept saying a man shouldn't be held responsible for what he did when he was seventeen. They got their way. And that sent a message. That's all I'm saying. I still don't agree that we should put all 17-year-olds on house arrest, Lemont. They got the green light. It's us against them, now.

4. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Candorville 2018-10-01 Supreme Court
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2018-10-01 Pub. Date: 2018-10-01
Image Number: 174288
Caption: Sir, I saw you assigned the Judge Groperman account to Dick Fink. That's my account, sir. Why would you do that? Now that Groperman's been accused of attacking a woman, I thought maybe you would be more comfortable not handling his P.R. campaign. I see. Are you sure it's not because you're afraid I'll sabotage the campaign to make sure the state senate rejects his nomination? Yayle. I would never even think of doing such a thing. Clearly not. All cretins are innocent until proven guilty.

Caption: Is this Randy the Love Doctor? Speaking. What ails you, sister? People were right: Now that gay people in all 50 states can marry, it's destroyed marriage altogether. My husband Larry just left me and moved in with Earl the plumber. First of all, ma'am, I'm pretty sure you have no idea how these things work. The supreme court gave Larry the gay. How do I undo the gay?

Caption: It's going to be a long four years for your Uncle Mort. Uh-oh. What's happening? He's realized that the Republicans will never be punished for denying Barack Obama all those judicial appointments. Booooring. He's stuck on phase one in the grieving process. You're not going to stand for this, right? You're going to go vote them all out, right? Am I right?

Caption: I'm heading to DC to report on the Democratic party's filibuster against that judge Trump's appointed to the stolen Supreme Court seat. And then I'm going to cover how they all boldly signed on to Bernie Sanders' Medicare-for-All bill. Wait … are you being sarcastic? Then I'm going to cover their stunning refusal to accept any more Wall Street bribes.

9. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Candorville 2016-11-16 Supreme Court
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2016-11-16 Pub. Date: 2016-11-16
Image Number: 151018
Caption: At a run-down bar in Canada, Lemont runs into himself from an alternate reality. In 2013, the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act … because racism was over. Three years later, America elects a white supremacist sympathizer for president. On the bright side, now I don't feel so bad about MY America electing President Kardashian. Trade?

10. Comic Strip Greg Evans Luann 2016-09-25 Supreme Court
Cartoonist(s): Greg Evans
Comic/Cartoon: Luann

Caption: Are all quarts the same? No, Tiffany. There are many different ones: Supreme Courts, courts of appeals, district courts, municipal courts - Um … ok. So is a quart of yogurt the same as a quart of oj? Oh - quart. Well, yogurt is measured by weight, while oj is a liquid amount. So they're the same, but different. Y'know, Gunther. I never understand anything you say in our study sessions. Ditto. Yet we both learn so much!

11. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Rudy Park 2016-08-03 Supreme Court
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Rudy Park
Viewable Date: 2016-08-03 Pub. Date: 2016-08-03
Image Number: 146702
Caption: I just need exactly 30 minutes to go to a funeral. Exactly? That's how long it'll take me to march to the archipelago where Bajor was and light a dragon on fire in Bajor's honor. I hope you're going to tell me you're talking about some video game … because paying for your mental health care would violate my religious beliefs, and the supreme court said I don't have to do that. I dressed my pikemen in black.

12. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Candorville 2016-03-07 Supreme Court
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2016-03-07 Pub. Date: 2016-03-07
Image Number: 140178
Caption: Donald Trump's not going to win. He's a joke. Not worried about him. That's why you should worry about him!!! What do you mean? Every time an impossible candidate wins, it's because people "didn't worry about him." No one worried about Nixon. Nixon was a has-been. No one worried about Reagan. Reagan was a joke. Barack Obama ... he was a nobody. Who would Trump put on the Supreme Court: Judge Judy? Every time you say that, the Trump smiles.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Rudy Park

Image Number: 139582
Caption: Do you think it's too late for me to go to law school and position myself for an appointment to the Supreme Court? Yes, unfortunately. You'd have to go back in time and start preparing early. By that I mean WAY back. As in you'd have to ensure that the cells that formed you had genes that would give you intellectual curiosity, above-average intelligence, and ambition. But you do still have time to become a layabout. You seem to have prepared very well for that. What? You'd still get to wear a robe all day.

14. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Rudy Park 2016-02-25 Supreme Court
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Rudy Park
Viewable Date: 2016-02-25 Pub. Date: 2016-02-25
Image Number: 139581
Caption: You know what'd be cool? If the president nominated me for the supreme court. Say what? It's a lifetime appointment. Once I got the job, I could just sit there and twiddle my thumbs, and nobody could fire me. I could sit there during oral arguments and just play games all day on my iPad. Sounds like a sweet deal. Plus I'd get to wear a black robe. I could get super fat and no one would ever notice.

Viewable Date: 2016-02-24 Pub. Date: 2016-02-24
Image Number: 139580
Caption: I wonder who the next Supreme Court justice will be. Well, the president has a habit of disappointing liberals, so we can be sure of one thing … It won't be a radical Socialist ideologue who'll swing the court back to the left. Are you sure? I have it on good authority. How can you just sit there slurping coffee while the president isn't returning my calls?!

Image Number: 139578
Caption: Boss, I don't see why I should have to wear this black armband. Out of respect, Rudy. We're in mourning. When Supreme Court Justice Scalia passed away, we lost one of the men who ruled once and for all that corporations are people and money is speech. He was, quite possibly, the greatest American who ever lived. Well ... no one can even see the armband, 'cause my shirt's black too. Off with your shirt, minion. That's an order.

20. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Candorville 2014-11-02 Supreme Court
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2014-11-02 Pub. Date: 2014-11-02
Image Number: 117756
Caption: I'm tired of race-baiters claiming the real purpose of voter ID laws is to suppress the black vote. I mean, it's probably just a coincidence those laws were enacted the moment the Supreme Court killed part of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. You know what else is just a big coincidence? What's that? Most of those states were once part of the Confederacy and prevented blacks from voting until the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Page 26,958 subparagraph Y in 'The Delusional Black Man's Guide to Interpreting the Behavior of Others.' 'Plenty of Confederates didn't even see color.'
