Caption: What'd you mean when you called it the Republican Supreme Court? They're not all Republicans. Ever since the Republicans voted as a bloc in 2000 to end the recount and make Bush president … and with all the 5 to 4 votes … it's become increasingly clear that the court is a political body, just like Congress. There's no point in pretending it's still some unbiased arbiter of justice. Nothing's legitimate anymore. This is just like the last days of Rome.

Caption: I saw that article you wrote, where you siad it ain't make no sense that Syria president used chemical weapons. You wrote Don' ya'll fools notice the same exact thing happened last year when the U.S. was talkin' 'bout pullin' out? You wrote All of a sudden Assad gas his own people, an' then we decide to stay an' keep whoopin' Assad *$%. You wrote "Fast-forward a year. Trump talk 'bout leavin' again, an' again Assad gas his own people, an' again Trump change his mind an' decide to stay an' keep whoopin' Assad @#$. You wrote Yeah right, ain't this some @#$#$%. Y'know, when you put someone else's points in your own words, you're supposed to start by saying I'm paraphrasin here. You wrote Y'all crazy to believe homeboy would do the same exact @#$% that backfired on 'im the last time.

Caption: I made some Kraft mac & cheese the other day. Why you ain't called me, bruh? I'da ate some. That's not the point, Clyde. The point is, it didn't taste anywhere near as delicious as it did when I was a kid. Serves you right. You think maybe they changed the formula? Did they find out something in it was dangerous? Did they do it to save money? The thought kept me up all night. Finally, at 3 a.m., I tweeted Did Kraft change it's formula ... or have I gone crazy ... or is nothing ever as delicious as it was when you were a six-year-old child? You really tryin' hard to find somethin' to be upset about that ain't Trump. I spent all morning taste-testing Froot Loops, KFC, Funyuns, Jell-o pudding pops, etc ... They must've changed their formulas too!

Caption: I'm starting to feel like nothing really matters anymore. Dr. Noodle. I remember just ten years ago, I'd spend hours online arguing with random strangers about important things. M.D. We all seemed to take plenty of time back then to listen to each others' points. We'd research our counter-arguments and present them. Sometimes we'd actually change each others' minds. I see. So when you tweeted all that last night, how did people respond? Some said I was being a snowflake, other said that was fake news.

Caption: Have you already had any coffee from that pot, Ms. Garcia? Why do you ask, Terry? Oh … no reason. No reason at all. If you've already had some, you may as well have more. It wouldn't make a difference at this point. Are you trying to scare me away form the coffee so you can have it all yourself? It's been an honor working with you, ma'am.

Caption: I detest those Nazis and KKK and white supremacists who marched on Charlottesville. You do? That's great. I'm surprised. I mean, you were a tea partier, you hate immigration, you've fought to make it harder for minorities to vote, you complain all the time about gays and Muslims and atheists ... You're right, they do have some good points. But still ... all that violence and the Anti-Semitism and the tattoos and the torches. I detest all of that stuff. Never look a political awakening in the mouth. Maybe "detest" is too strong a word.

Caption: Ok … but what actually happened when you and Vancouver saw each other again? I want details! Well, after we spent a few days making up for lost time … After we were convinced that our entire lives led us to this point and we were meant to be together ... Oh wait, my pants are vibrating. I'm getting a call. For some reason, I'm starting to sense it all went horribly wrong. Y'know, what I just said to you would've made no sense at all when we were kids.

Caption: You look awful. When's the last time you got some sleep? 154 hours ago. Dios mio, Lemont! That could kill you! What are you thinking?! I'm afraid that if I go to sleep, I'll have this dream that I don't want to have. Well you can't go six days with not sleep! That might be what killed Prince! Even just three days is enough to make people hallucinate! You've got to sleep! She may have a point. No she doesn't.

Caption: That's enough, Lemont. At some point, you have to come up for air. Let me just look at it one more time, Susan. How many times are you going to watch the teaser trailer for the new "Star Wars"? It's so … beautiful, Susan. It's got real models and real sets, and it's got the Millennium Falcon. And the more I watch it, the more I forget that the prequel trilogy ever even existed. You've been watching it for a whole month, Lemont. The Millenium Falcon show more emotional depth in this teaser than all the actors did in "Phantom Menace." Well let's go get lunch. You have to eat, don't you?

Caption: You thought 2,000 people were coming to hear you speak, but it turns out they're all coming to hear Stephen King. They like you so much they think you're worthy of appearing on the same panel discussion as Stephen King! To the audience, you're just "the other guy" who'll be taking up some of King's speaking time. ... He's got a point.

Caption: Wha--? Who's there? George (censored) Carlin, the dead comedian. A-Are you a ghost? Are you stupid? There are no "ghosts". I'm an echo. An electrical impulse in your brain. A firing synapse. An idea. If I were a ghost who could do anything, would I waste my time in some strangers bedroom? Good point. Wait...that does sound appealing.

Caption: You left your wife and married Lance the mailman? I had no choice. California legalized gay marriage. Obviously, that meant traditional marriage must die, and we must all turn gay. So instead of waiting for the inevitable, I figured I'd just get it over with now. Some people will do anything to prove a point. Don't tell Lance about me and Arnold.

Caption: Some once said "In a kingdom, only the court jester can speak the truth." I wrote a series of posts satirizing how the Secret Service isn't diligent enough in protecting presidential candidates, and the Chronicle WOULD RUN IT! Who said that "kingdom" thing? Huh? I dunno. Why? Was it Shakespeare-- or Cheech & Chong? Makes a difference. That's not the point.
