Image Number: 59927
Caption: Earl, I'm impressed! You're wearing matching socks today! Luck of the draw. I reached into my sock drawer this morning and somehow came up with two identical socks. Amazing! What are the odds? I know. I should probably go buy a lottery ticket or something.
Cartoonist(s): Brian Crane
Comic/Cartoon: Pickles
Viewable Date: 2011-04-20 Pub. Date: 2011-04-20
Image Number: 59926
Caption: Doesn't it bother you to go around with mismatched socks, Earl? Nope. You know, when you dress like that it reflects poorly on me. People see you wearing mismatched socks and they probably assume it's my fault for not doing the laundry. Hmm. Interesting. Maybe that's why it doesn't bother me.
Cartoonist(s): Brian Crane
Comic/Cartoon: Pickles
Viewable Date: 2011-04-19 Pub. Date: 2011-04-19
Image Number: 59925
Caption: Earl, do you know you have on one black sock and one white sock? Yeah. Life is too short to spend it trying to find matching socks. So every morning I reach in the sock drawer and take whichever two socks I come up with. I guess it's my way of living dangerously. It was either that or skydiving. Good choice.
Cartoonist(s): Greg Evans
Comic/Cartoon: Luann

Caption: Oh no! This magazine's from last month and my horoscope says: "The next 30 days bring romance and travel: Dinner in Paris with a Euro-stud, sunning in Bali with a hot surfer, dancing in Rio with a rich diplomat. Book your flights and pack for fun!" Auuggh!! I missed all of that! If only I'd known! Yeah. That poor diplomat must have been crushed when you didn't show. Horoscopes are so bogus. Read on in another magazine and see if they're even close. Ok. "Be sure to read your horoscope this month or you'll miss out on romance in Paris, Bali and Rio. Yeah, right. And yours says, "Because you don't believe in horoscopes, you'll have yet another unexciting month." Oh yeah? I bought a new pair of oxfords last month. And socks. Kinda proves the horoscope, doesn't it?

Image Number: 33847
Caption: Tell us about your day, Zoe. Well... …First, when I woke up I was thinking about wearing my blue skirt, but then I remembered that I wanted to wear the brown socks that Mom gave me. You know, the ones with the little bulldogs on them? They're so cute. Brenna has a pair like them, but hers have sparkles on the collar and mine have beads, which I think look better anyway. So then I realized that I was hungry, so I walked out to the kitchen, but on the way I noticed Hamie had left his stuff in the middle of the floor, so I made a mental note to tell Mom about it, but then she called me for breakfast and I forgot to mention.. Dad, do us a favor and only ask Zoe "yes" or "no" questions. Done.

Caption: Opal was giving me grief this morning for wearing mismatched socks. I think she sees socks as a metaphor for marriage. She strongly feels that a pair of socks should always remain together, and that no outside sock should ever be allowed to come between them. Am I on Candid Camera?
