Listen, Leslie, I - Les! It's Les. Oh. Ok. Sorry. Les, you shouldn't do this in an empty hall. It wastes an opportunity. What? Do it at lunchtime. Show the school that a wimp like me can't mess with you. So let's make it, say … Next Thursday at noon, cafeteria. Does that work for you? Uh, yeah ... |

What do you think of this sweater I got for Christmas? Nice! Very flattering. Shows real classy taste. I just can't imagine ever wearing it. You don’t think it's kinda yucky? No! It's really cute! Why don’t you wanna wear it? My brother gave it to me. Oh. Donate it to Goodwill. Originally published 1994. |

I need to help Brad get his firefighter job back. Do you have any ideas? Hey, ideas are ALL I have. Let's see … Ok, we could start a huge fire to show that the department is understaffed. Or we could kidnap a firefighter to make an opening. Or we could blackmail the Captain so - Stop. Do you have any PRACTICAL ideas? Practical isn't really my thing. |

B-bop. B-bop. B-bop. B-bop. Cool, huh? Yes. If you enjoy boredom. And migraines. These phones are amazing. You can even make calls. B-bop. B-bop. B-bop. B-bop. B-bop. B-bop. |

He actually thinks he'll be a huge star? He practices his autograph. That's how delusional he is. What's your favorite musical? "Luannie Get Your Gun"? Yeah, what's yours, "The Wizard Of Aussie"? |

Don’t think of it as a date, then. Think of it as going with some pals to see a musical. How is that less weird? |

The world's so messed up: Disease, hunger, oppression, poverty, disasters - You kinda wonder what there is to be thankful for. True. Yeah. M. This sandwich is yummy. I'm gonna get one to go. We're seeing the 2:45 movie in 3-D, right? My new sundress will look great at the pool! |

Oh no! This magazine's from last month and my horoscope says: "The next 30 days bring romance and travel: Dinner in Paris with a Euro-stud, sunning in Bali with a hot surfer, dancing in Rio with a rich diplomat. Book your flights and pack for fun!" Auuggh!! I missed all of that! If only I'd known! Yeah. That poor diplomat must have been crushed when you didn't show. Horoscopes are so bogus. Read on in another magazine and see if they're even close. Ok. "Be sure to read your horoscope this month or you'll miss out on romance in Paris, Bali and Rio. Yeah, right. And yours says, "Because you don't believe in horoscopes, you'll have yet another unexciting month." Oh yeah? I bought a new pair of oxfords last month. And socks. Kinda proves the horoscope, doesn't it? |

These guys are hilarious! Don’t you see the symbolism? The steep stairs represent life. The heavy piano is our mortality. Their long uphill struggle is constant and overwhelming. It's really a very grim film. No, you're a very grim person. Why do you think they always wear black hats? Huh? It's a black and white movie. Maybe they're red. |
