Caption: Did you see the new Sandra Bland video? The police found it on her phone two months after she died and hid it for four years. I still can't believe that cop flipped out on her like that after stopping her for a turn signal. It's just not safe for us out there. Happen all the time, Big L. That's why I started that GoFundMe. Black people aren't going to give you money to build escape-catapult seats for our cars. Already got 52,000 orders.

He was the very first cop who ever pulled me over for no reason. You had just run over someone. the tricycle always has the right of way, everyone knows that!

Caption: A teacher stood up during a public comment portion of a school board meeting … and calmly said it was wrong to give their unelected superintendent a $38,000 pay raise while the teachers got nothing and class sizes grew. Lemme guess what was next. A cop threw her to the ground, cuffed her, dragged her outta there an' arrested her. Clyde! You started watching the news? Don't need to, bruh. America a police state.

Caption: Remember that video of police attackin' that blond white woman nurse for just doin' her job? Remember Justine Diamond, white woman the police shot in her pajamas? Remember the hundreds of people of all races unnecessarily shot by cops in the past few years? Remember the huge "All Lives Matter" protests that broke out eretime? Glad to see I was wrong about "All Lives Matter" bein' just another way of sayin' "shut up an' take it, n*****." My "Sarcasm Monday" idea really caught on. Look at Wino Larry over there relievin' hisself. What a beautiful sight.

Caption: I finally ran into Vancouver at a party that night. One thing led to another … and we found ourselves parked in her car at 2am on a bluff overlooking the moonlit ocean. It was magical. It felt as if the earth was no bigger than that car, that we were the only two people on it, and it was moving beneath our feet. Turns our we'd forgotten to set the parking break. We rolled downhill into a police car.

Caption: C-Dog don't never dream 'cause dreamin' just make real life worse, Big L. Let's say I dream I can stand on a corner or walk across the street without some cop bothering me. Then when I wake up, no matter where I go, there some cop lookin' out his car window at me, just waiting for a reason to "put me in my place." If I don't dream things can be better, then I ain't never disappointed. I know what you mean. Last night I dreamt you weren't depressing.

Caption: Two years ago. There's a video showing Michael Brown stealing something and bullying a shopkeeper. That's absolute proof he was just a thug who needed to be put down. Two weeks ago. So what if there's video of cops seeming to shoot people unnecessarily? You can't tell anything from a video. What?

Caption: I haven't been pulled over by the cops for no reason in months. That means one of two things: either racism is over … or they ran out of money and had to lay off some cops. Of you're driving better. I sent you an evite to racism's going away party.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville

Caption: The DA ain't gonna prosecute the cop who unnecessarily shot that white kid. … What the kid name again? Zachary Hammond? Yeh. I noticed it seem like the only people still outraged about it is the "Black Lives Matter" crowd. I ain't seen white people put on no marches, no protests ... nothin'. You know what this tell me? It tell me that when people hear "Black Lives Matter" an' reflexively respond by sayin' "All Lives Matter" ... What they REALLY sayin' is "shut up an' take it, like we do." "All Lives Matter" is catchier.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2015-11-15 Pub. Date: 2015-11-15
Image Number: 134847
Caption: I think I'm getting jaded, Doc. Dr. Noodle. A few weeks ago, Blingy & Poshman Jewelers in Candorville did something very, very racist. S. Pookie Blackman is a multimillionaire quarterback for the Candorville Chickens. He stopped by to check out some jewelry. As soon as they saw the 6'10" black man coming, the store employees locked the door, begged him to leave, and then when he rang the doorbell, they called the police. But when I heard all that, all I did was shrug and think "I hope he didn't end up buying anything." I see. It's normal. Sometimes your outrage-muscle needs a rest. I was able to work up some anger about the cops who asked him why he had a nice car.

Caption: Every time a cop shoots a black man, someone tried to change the subject by saying "Yeah but … black-on-black crime is a much bigger problem." Let's imagine they did that for everything. Let's do this. "Taxes are too high." Yeh but … your rent cost a lot more, so whachoo whinin' 'bout? "Politicians don't listen to us." Yeh, but ... men don't truly listen to women in they relationships. Deal widdat first, if you serious about people bein' heard. "The city should fix these potholes." Yeh but ... erytime a big meteor hit us, it make craters biggern all the potholes combined. How I'm supposed to take you serious about them potholes when I ain't never heard you say nothin' about them asteroid craters?

Image Number: 131274
Caption: Bad cops who kill unarmed black men are starting to get fired, and even indicted for murder. I don't think any of that would be happening if it weren't for the fact that all hell broke loose in Ferguson after Michael Brown was killed. Maybe things are actually changing. Maybe cops will even stop persecuting the good officers who report the bad ones. Wait ... are you being sarcastic? Maybe the academies will start weeding out the ones who overreact.

And then he pulled his gun on the other kids when they tried to ask him not to keep hurting her. Cough cough.* *I'm tired of having a new story like this to talk about every week. Comic/Cartoon: Candorville

Image Number: 128068
Caption: Did you know that, with very few exceptions, police officers in Britain don't carry guns? That's not a myth? It's true. And most cops want to keep it that way to preserve the sense that they serve the people rather than the state. Cops in Britain think that the public not feeling oppressed protects them better than guns would. Everyone has health insurance ... almost no one gets shot ... they got rid of slavery 22 years before we did ... Maybe those guys are onto something.

Caption: A cop in Cleveland jumped onto the hood of a car after a long chase … and fired 49 times at the unarmed people in the car. It all started when the driver fled from a traffic stop … and then his car back fired as it drove past police headquarters. Cops mistook that for gunfire. That's why when I'm in a car an' it backfires, I dive out the window, an' tuck and roll. A brutha can't take no chances. I always wondered why you do that.

Caption: Did you see how slow Walter Scott ran when he ran from that cop, Big L? Looked like when you try an' run in a swimming pool. That how slow the brotha was movin'. If I'm ever scared enough of a cop to wanna run from him, I hope I remember that even SLOWLY running away gon' give him an excuse to say he "feared for his life." Cartwheels, dawg. They ain't never shot no brotha who cartwheeled away. Better Google that to be sure.

Caption: This country hopelessly broken, dawg. When that middle-aged brotha Walter Scott got shot down in the back like a dog, an' it was all caught on video … I thought "this time, ain't NOBODY gonna say the black man deserved it." I told you, whenever the police shoot an unarmed black man, stay off the internet. How anyone s'posed to stay off the net THAT often?

I just gotta wait till the next one happen, then I'll have another two-week window to walk home. It's like it's open season on unarmed black men ... ... an' erebody think they Elmer Fudd. Look on the bright side: plenty of other people get shot too. ... That didn't come out right.
