Caption: What I learned on my summer vacation. In Montreal, people speak French and English, but things are written in French. I saw a painting of a sunflower. Tournesol. Someone explained that sunflowers actually turn their heads with the sun - the French word described the action! Not all French words do this ... at least not on purpose. What's a "lardon"? Bacon.
