Caption: We're behind a lot of other countries in health care, social mobility, internet service, cellphone service, education … income equality, infrastructure, high-speed trains, voting, democratic representation, linguistic diversity, life expectancy, religious diversity, please, press freedom, child well-being, happiness, sleep, literacy, leisure, retirement security, gender equality, minimum wage, homicide rates, prosperity, the cost of food ... Other than military spending and the number of people we throw in prison, we're behind in almost everything ... so why do people still chant "we're number one!" All the time? Where we is on math?

Caption: Your latest article was a little confusing, Lemont. What's confusing about my having solved Fermi's paradox? I've single-handedly explained how the universe could be filled with civilization, even though we've seen no evidence them. Did you know there's a possibility our universe exists within a black hole? ... and every black hole in our universe may contain an entire universe of its own? I've heard that. And did you know that people ultimately just can't stand those who are different from them? Don't you see, Susan? There is no paradox. When a civilization advances far enough, it doesn't fly to other stars. It thinks much bigger. It creates a black hole and vanishes into it so it can have a whole universe to itself. They could shape it and write its natural laws however they want. The Berniezoidians could have a whole universe full of single-payer healthcare, ... and the Trumpmagans could have a whole universe full of no undocumented immigrants. Oh. I was just confused about the part where you wrote "The Trumpmagans still insist Mexico will pay for the event horizon."

Caption: Cool shirt. You gonna watch the new Star Trek tv show? No way! It's a horrible show and it's going to fail! What? Why? All the angriest people on the internet agree with me. It looks to much like J.J. Abrams' J.J. - Trek nonsense … It's a scam to distract from CBS suing fan film creators ... O ... K ... it looks too advanced to be a prequel, the bridge is on the bottom of the saucer and not the top, the Klingons look stupid ... O ... K ... I guess I can ... There are too many minorities on it ... it's on CBS All Access instead of on broadcast or Netflix ... Wait ... What?! I shouldn't have to pay $6 month and watch it where they want me to watch it. They should give it to me how I want it! Didn't you just get all racist for a second? It should be free. It shouldn't force "diversity" down my throat. I should be able to see it on the channel I want to see it on. There! Right there! You just did it again!

Caption: Dick Fink, did you send out that company-wide memo I gave you? No way. All that stuff about "tolerance" and "acceptance" of employees of all faiths and national origins made you sound like some boring "social justice warrior." Frankly, it smacked of "virtue signalling," so I tossed it for your own good. You can't make "being nice" a bad thing by labeling it to death. You're welcome.

Caption: Seriously they gonna cast a brotha as the next James Bond? They might cast Idris Elba. I don't see why not. All the actors have been different. Blond, brunette, blue-eyed, brown-eyed, Scottish, Irish, English, Australian … White, white, white, white, white, white, white, white be all I heard.

Caption: Who do you think's gonna replace David Letterman on "Late Show"? Who give a *$%@? Yet another white dude in a suit, tellin' jokes an' suckin' up to actors … Why would I care about that? You go like 21 late night shows. Only one of them hosts ain't white, an only one is a woman. White men about 36% of America, bit they like 90% OF LATE NIGHT. Late night TV don't look like America, dawg. Unless they ask Dave Chappelle to host it, I ain't watchin'. Besides, I already watched them "Chappelle Show" DVDs fifty times. I need some new Dave. So that's what happened to my ... GIVE ME BACK MY DVDs!!!

Caption: Morrie Turner. Father of diversity on the comics page. Soul Corner. In 1965, Morris "Morrie" Turner became the father of diversity on the comics page when he launched "Wee Pals" … The first syndicated strip featuring black, white, Latino and Asian characters. Morrie became an instrumental part of the civil rights movement after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. when over 100 papers added his message of racial harmony to their comics pages. Every Sunday in Wee Pals "Soul Corner," Morrie celebrated African-American historical figures that the history books usually ignored. Proving to little kids everywhere that now matter what we look like, we could grow up to be doctors, scientists, academicians, leaders ... and cartoonists. 1923 - 2014. Morrie Turner.

Caption: I'm tired of people mischaracterizing those of us who valiantly defend Christmas. Insisting that other people say "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays" doesn't make me intolerant. I respect people of other faiths and even atheists. That's cool. And every December they're each free to worship the savior in their own way.
