Caption: One of my readers got really upset when I pointed out Aristotle's many mistakes. She said Aristotle may have been wrong about everything … but he created the scientific method that other people used to prove he was wrong about everything. Fair point. So what did you say? What else could I say? I said It's 3 a.m. Momma, please stop calling me about this. I think your phone is ringing.

Caption: I wrote about your hatred for Aristotle in my latest column. You did what? I asked Is a genius still a genius if he believed some people are just naturally inferior and should be slaves? Is it wrong to go on celebrating a person's contributions if that person turns out to be detestable? You didn't use my name in this article, did you? I'm pretty sure my article was the first time in history Aristotle appeared in the same sentence with R. Kelly.

Caption: It all started with my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandpappy, Ezekiel Goodhusband. Dr. Noodle. Ezekiel was the courtroom sketch artist at the Salem Witch Trials. He drew a particularly unflattering likeness of Hezekiah Usher II. Hezekiah was later acquitted. But as poor Ezekiel would soon learn, Hezekiah actually was a witch. Hezekiah cursed Ezekiel and all his descendants. On our thirtieth birthdays, we all turn invisible ... forced to live out our lives in obscurity ... our needs, our contributions, our dreams and our worth going totally unnoticed. There's no upside here. Either I need anti-psychotics ... or you're lying naked on my couch. See? We're supposed to be talking about me!

Caption: The Koch Brothers are filthy rich billionaires. They plan on spending $1 billion on the upcoming elections. I can't even afford to buy a new car, let alone a new Congress. It all makes me feel so hopeless. But then I think back to the Middle Ages. Sure there was Feudalism. But there was also jousting, and damsels, and knights. So Feudalism's not all bad. Plus, modern Feudalism is almost 92% guaranteed to not include the plague. PhD. Well, there's that.

Caption: Out of curiosity, why do you ask if I know where C-Dog was earlier today? $1000 in small, Cheeto-dust covered bills was left at the altar this morning, with a note that said "use this to help victims of gun violence." That doesn't sound like C-Dog. "This definitely ain't from a hardcore G like C-Dog. Sincerely, C-Dog." I know nothing. (This cartoon was originally published on 2013-01-04).

Caption: Unemployment insurance is not a handout. You paid into it every month when you were working … So there's nothing wrong with using it when you need to. In general, that's true. But when you're the one applying for it, it feels like begging. Swallow your pride, Lemont. I can't even swallow aspirin.

Caption: On today's SUNDAY MORNING POLITICAL SHOW, we discuss the public funding of presidential campaigns. Here to discuss this: Barack Obama from last month. Thanks, Bob. My campaign never made any specific pledge to accept public financing, so we don’t see a reason to forgo the contributions of millions of Americans. Our next guest: Barack Obama from February 2007. Hello, Bob. Bob, I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election. Bob, me from last year is an imposter. Possibly an extraterrestrial, or a clone. Bob, this Obama's been blinded by money.

Caption: Mrs. Obama coughed today. Is that a dig at how Hillary Clinton takes tons and tons of cash from health care industry lobbyists? Oh, how I love the magical question mark. I can say ANYTHING, even if it's not the least bit true… …and as long as I tack on a question mark at the end, I won't get sued for slander. I should've stayed in bed this century. Did Mrs. Obama once drop-kick Hillary in the gut?

Caption: Hey Brown, did you see my article about those journalists who gave political donations? It's unethical. It's a conflict of interest. How can the public trust us if we seem beholden to special interests? Was that article above the Microsoft ad or the Exxon ad? Exxon.

In fact, they have done their best to convince us that Jesus was never a part of New Year's celebrations in the first place. The next time someone tells you "Happy New Year," remind them that the phrase has always been "Happy New Savior..." and send in you large donation to help us fight for New Year Jesus. Sincerely, Rev. Wilfred W. Wilfred
