Caption: Would you be disappointed in me if I agreed to create an ad campaign for the NRA? Of course not. In fact, I have an idea. Why don't you do an ad about how the NRA saved us all from smart gun technology that would've made sure only authorized users could fire a gun. I mean, that tech alone would've prevented most school shooting. Thank got the NRA put a stop to that. I really hate sarcasm Mondays. We really dodged the dodge-a-bullet bullet thanks to them.

Caption: It's as if people don't care if they're lied to, as long as the guy doing the lying is "their" guy. People love getting lied to, Lemont. That's what makes my job so fun. Crafting a good ad campaign is like sitting by the glow of a lamp and telling your sweet little child and a night-night story. Every good night-night story omits the gruesome details. I thought you hated kids. Oh, not at all. I love them ... in theory.

Caption: Sir, Concast Cable's interested in an ad campaign that'll soften up their image in advance of this mega-merger. When people think of their purchase of Slime-Warmer Cable, Concast wants them to think of a mom-and-pop store … and not a corporate behemoth that's going to slash thousands of jobs, create a monopoly and eventually jack up prices. This'll be tough. On the bright side, we get to charge them the "utter (censored)" fee. Yayle. CEO of the Year 2002.

Caption: F&E Marketing and Advertising. Election years are the hardest! It's tough to sell guys like this new political client. To begin with, he has IRS problems. Let's says "He's an experienced tax-cutter." He also took bribes to pay off his debts. That's great! We'll spin it that "he knows how to balance a budget!" He gave public sector jobs to unqualified family members. "He's lowered unemployment." And he has high unfavorable ratings across the political spectrum. Perfect! We'll call him a "true uniter!"

Caption: Hello, presidential candidate. You've reached the home of Lemont Brown prior to January, 2016. I can't come to the phone right now because the election is a whole year away. And I can only wade through self-serving, misleading ads for about nine months before I start to just tune it all out and say forget all of you. At the sound of the beep, please hang up and call back in February. Beep. Click!

Caption: Today on the Ask Sadie Show, we'll be addressing one single topic: BERNIE SANDERS. Specifically, we'll be asking "What does it mean that this man has never run a negative, personal ad?" Well, I'll tell you … IT MEANS BERNIE SANDERS IS UNAMERICAN! Insinuating that your opponent is a lying, godless, traitorous scumbag is one of the pillars upon which this great nation was founded.

Caption: Seriously? When you left the paper, your blog had 20,000 daily visitors … … But it grew to 800,000 a day after just a year? … Almost as if your best friend who runs an ad agency had crafted a viral ad campaign for your blog in her spare time? What as that? I was watching that cloud over there. Never mind.

Caption: Your boss … the millionaire advertising CEO … got deported? It was Arizona. Cops asked for his papers. He didn't have any documentation on him and it turns out he IS an illegal Canadian immigrant. But he's back? The economy depends on illegal labor, so border patrol doesn't try too hard. Without illegals like my boss, Coke would have to pay $8 million for ad campaigns instead of $2 million. (Originally published in 2010)

Caption: I'm still trying to figure out why I spend the first year on health care instead of on jobs. After all, Bill Clinton did that, and it nearly wrecked his presidency. It's like I didn't learn from history. And for some reason, I waited until my political capital was almost gone before finally introducing the jobs bill. He really needs to work on his campaign ads. Obama 2012: Better late than never.

Caption: Black people have been brainwashed! Yeah, I said it! No, I won't take it back! I'm Herman Cain! I don't see why anyone would be offended by what I said. After all … I did add that some black people are starting to think for themselves. Now I now some of you are gonna call me an Uncle Tom for implying black people are weak-minded sheep, but I don't care, because I'm Herman Cain! He's gotta work on his campaign ads.

Caption: Garcia, do you think it was professional of you to grab our eighth biggest client by the scruff of his neck and throw him down the mail chute? Is this a trick question, sir? No it's not a trick question. Abercrombie & Fitch wanted us to devise an ad campaign for their push-up bikini top for seven-year-olds. Good point. Seven-year-olds don't have a lot of cash, anyway. Exac ... no, that's not ... Dios mio.

Caption: So, how are you gonna market my "Jokes About Rush Limbaugh's Heart Troubles" CD? Mr. Gold, I told you before, we don't work for free. Does Armani Gold look like a man who needs a handout? Years ago, I thought ahead and trademarked every possible "But I didn't know Limbaugh had a heart" joke. Dios mio. So far my lawyer's sued half of San Francisco.

Caption: At the ad agency … I'm telling you, it practically sells itself. Just listen … Rush Limbaugh, outspoken opponent of health care reform, was rushed to the hospital with heart trouble. Maybe he was faking his symptoms … just like Michael J. Fox. First off, your "Rush Limbaugh Heart Trouble Jokes" CD is the DEFINITION of a "short shelf life" item ... But it's comedy gold!
