Caption: I think a pet's name tells you more about its owner than it does about the pet. For example, my wife named her mean, ornery cat "Muffin," because she thinks all cats are cuddly, lovable fur balls. It's an act of self-delusion, don't you think? I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I once had a pit bull named "Fluffy."

Image Number: 19408
Caption: I think the name you give a pet should reflect the pet's true character. Take Roscoe, for example. "Roscoe" is slang for a revolver or pistol. How does that reflect his true character? Are you kidding? Look at him and tell me he's not hot as a pistol.

Caption: It's a little late to be telling me you don’t like the name "Muffin." How many years have we had her? You never even asked my opinion about it. Okay…What do you think we should have named her? Something more reflective of her personality, like "Beelzebub" or "Old Scratch." You see, this is why I don't ask your opinion.
