Caption: How come you didn’t major in something practical, like math, Dustin? Math? Math is boring! For every math problem, there's only one right answer. So? So, there's no mystery. There's mystery in English? Sure. Frequently, the letter E is silent. What is it not telling us? And, of course, there are the unresolved issues. Unresolved issues? "Sometimes Y." Think about it ... The other vowels have made up their minds, but Y is conflicted. There's even a cliffhanger. Sure there is. A very famous one: The case of the dangling participle. Where are you going? To practice multiplication tables.
