Caption: Senator Ottoman, if you're re-elected, are you prepared to work with your opposition to create fair and productive legislation? Reelect Senator Ottoman. Well, son, I'm glad you asked that. I have the utmost respect for my colleagues on the other side if the aisle. If you respect them as you say, are you prepared to concede 50% of their idea? 50% of voters believe we're winning the war on terror without stooping to compromise with out opposition. Then how about 40% of their position? 40% of my constituents think holding my ground makes me look more senatorial. Reelect Senator Ottoman. 30%? 30% of female voters are pleased that I don't wear a toupee while supporting rigid legislative ideology. Can they at least get 20%? 20% of my opponents are ninnywoggers. I say negative 10%!! That feels like a number I can work with. Reelect Senator Ottoman.

Like yours - MMMPH! Don't forget to subtly mention a campaign contribution. A bribe - MMPH! Understand: In politics, money and favors have always been on a sort of ... nudge nudge winky winky level. Caption: Edison, do you honestly think this man is qualified to be president? Dad! "Qualified" is such an ambiguous term. Orville Lee for President 2012. What's important is his recent surge in the polls. Right now we're putting together a tantalizing list of legislative priorities. Ooo ... Caption: I'm still trying to figure out why I spend the first year on health care instead of on jobs. After all, Bill Clinton did that, and it nearly wrecked his presidency. It's like I didn't learn from history. And for some reason, I waited until my political capital was almost gone before finally introducing the jobs bill. He really needs to work on his campaign ads. Caption: Joules, I just figured out how I'm going to win my first Nobel Prize! I have to prove a unification theory that's more complex than anything I've ever seen. Unifying general relativity and quantum mechanics is child's play compared to this. WHAT? WHAT IS IT? Unifying congress to form one cohesive legislative body. Yeah. Good luck with that.

Caption: When the President refused to exted the Bush tax cuts, he explained why and that made sense to me. Dr. Noodle. But then when he extend them, I was confused. When the President insisted on a public option for health care, he explained why and that made sense to me. But then he abandoned the public option. I was confused. When the President insisted that the very rich, not just the poor, have to sacrifice to help balance the budget, that made sense to me. But then he signed a bill that didn't ask the very rich to pay even a single cent more in taxes. And you're confused. Not anymore. I miss being confused.
