Cheered at the thought of a hypothetical comatose man dying because he has no health insurance ... ... And errupted with joy at the mere mention that Rick Perry executed people. ... Lots of people. Thank you for joining us, debate audience. I don't deserve to be here. I've been bad. I've gotten used to the notion that we're all in this society together. Whip me. Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2009-12-28 Pub. Date: 2009-12-28
Image Number: 42482
Caption: What's more likely, Lemont? That you had a psychotic break and you're lying on a gurney in Sunnyville sanitarium, hallucinating? Or that you and your therapist are stuck in Mexico, where we were kidnapped, chased by wolves, had tea with the most brutal drug cartel boss in Juarez ... ... And now you're going to interview a demon called La Llorona who steals the souls of the city's children? You're right. That's absurd. My HMO would NEVER cover hallucinations.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2009-06-25 Pub. Date: 2009-06-25
Image Number: 35437
Caption: "In 1994, the HMOs aired a 'real' middle-class couple, Harry and Louise, talking about the Clinton Universal Healthcare Plan. Their fears convinced America the plan would lead to shoddy coverage, high taxes and global thermonuclear Armageddon. Then the '94 Harry and Louise disappeared ... ... but now, in our hour of need, they have returned to scare the spit out of us all over again!" When Harry and I were impaled by dolphin, our HMO said it was a pre-existing condition and refused to treat us. Stick to the script! So we died, is what I'm saying... I love my HMO. Government bad.
